It was Nene who noticed first, late at night in the lab: nobody had touched the gate — and yet it was glowing all by itself!? Swallowed together with the professor's prototype DEEP-SEA POD, the two land at the bottom of the lightless sea. Lantern-lights sway in the blackness… and under the crushing weight of the water, the gate's ring begins to CREAK. Can they make it back while the ring still holds?
